Meeting the Community

Chinese Community Support Group:  Monday afternoon

Line Dancing: Tuesday morning and Friday evening

Chesterfield Garland Dancers: a women’s side who have been performing  clog and garland dances from (mainly) the north west of England since 1977. We wear brightly coloured dresses, with beads, waistcoats, bloomers and of course clogs. As well as dancing locally, we have visited many parts of the world, including Chesterfield’s twin towns in Germany, France, China and Namibia. http://www.chesterfieldgarland.org.uk. Tuesday evening (during autumn and winter)

Scottish Caledonian Dance Class welcomes beginners or those who may have danced before and, so that you don’t get too exhausted, we have a break for refreshments just before nine o’clock and finish at ten. Try us for yourself, or bring a friend along – contact us on 230319 (Ian or Liz) or 203219 (Rita) for details. Wednesday evening (in term time) at 7.45pm

Yoga: come along to stretch your body and calm your mind in a friendly and nurturing environment. All you need is a non-slip mat and blanket. All levels of experience welcome. Please contact Bev on 07884155890 for further details and availability. Thursday evening 6.15pm to 7.45pm

Circle Dancing (U3a): Saturday afternoon (fortnightly)

Historical Dancing: Saturday afternoon (twice monthly)

Slimming World:  Saturday morning from 9.30am
