Community Services

Throughout the year, we have several services that are very well supported by members of the community.

Hasland Gala Songs of Praise: This service is held in June to coincide with the end of the Hasland Gala and consists of hymns, readings and prayers.

Memorial services: On the Sunday closest to 1st November, a service is held to remember a loved one who has died. During the service, we specifically remember those who have died in the last 12 months but the service is open to anyone who wishes to remember a loved one. The service starts at 6p.m and is held in the sanctuary.

Remembrance Sunday: This is the second Sunday in November and starts at 10.45. The church community are joined by members of the Air Cadets, Scouts, Guides, Brownies, veterans and members of the public.

Community carol service: On Christmas Eve at 6p.m, we celebrate the birth of Christ with a service of words and music.
